Ladies Backpacking
Ladies are you ready for a trip just for you? Join Voice of Wilderness for a weeklong adventure designed to challenge you physically as well as spiritually.
We will start our trip with an overnight stay at VOW's Mountain Light Lodge
and hit the trail the next morning. We will spend four days and three nights in the beautiful southern Colorado wilderness. We will hike gorgeous trails, camp in secluded and scenic campsites, and enjoy campfires and camaraderie with our new "sisters." Our trip will end with two nights back at Mountain Light Lodge.
Spend our last full day visiting downtown Pagosa Springs. Charming shops, dining, and take a dip in the acclaimed Pagosa Hot Springs.
This trip is designed for any level of backpacker - beginner to expert. Although this will be physically challenging, it is also meant to be encouraging.
Ladies 13-17 are welcome with their Mom, Grandma, Aunt, Sister, ect.
Voice of Wildernessis a Christian backpacking and retreat center specializing in spiritual refreshment, educational adventures, and physical challenges. Voice of Wilderness was founded by Chet & Bobbie Russell in 1973 and is currently based out of Mountain Light Lodge, located in the San Juan Mountains of Southwestern Colorado.
